About Alanah
A clinical eye, a kinder hand.
I'm Alanah Best, founder of The Skin Space, based in Dublin, Ireland. I opened the clinic in February 2024 after years of personally struggling with acne and trying to navigate the overwhelming world of skincare. That experience sparked a real passion for results-driven treatments and for helping others feel confident in their skin.
I specialise in advanced skin treatments using AlumierMD® medical-grade skincare and SkinPen® microneedling, alongside professional chemical peels, LED therapy and bespoke skincare programmes. With a Level 8 BSc Sport Science & Health (DCU) and CIDESCO Diploma, I combine scientific knowledge with clinical expertise to deliver treatments tailored to each client's concerns and goals.
At The Skin Space, my goal is simple: to ensure every client feels seen, supported and confident — not just during their treatment, but every day.

All appointments are booked online through our Phorest booking system. You can choose your treatment, date and time, and you'll receive a confirmation by email.
A Classic Facial cleanses, exfoliates and nourishes for an immediate, healthy glow. AlumierMD® Chemical Peels are corrective treatments that work progressively to improve clarity, texture and pigmentation over a course.
SkinPen® is the only FDA-cleared microneedling device and is suitable for most skin types and tones. A consultation is required before your first session so Alanah can confirm suitability and plan your course.
Most clients see meaningful change within 3–6 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. A bespoke plan is built for you at consultation so you know exactly what to expect.
Yes. AlumierMD® is medical-grade and prescribed in clinic to support your in-clinic results. Your home routine is recommended as part of your bespoke plan.
